Each cutting board we offer is accompanied by a complimentary jar of Timber Grip BK Wax, made in our studio.
To maintain the quality and appearance of your board, it’s important to wash it by hand only. Avoid using a dish washer, as that could damage the material. Instead, carefully clean the board with warm, soapy water to ensure it stays in good condition. Regular maintenance is essential; when you notice that the board looks dried out and the color appears desaturated, it’s time to apply board wax. This will not only help restore its luster but also protect it from further wear and tear. By following these simple care instructions, you can ensure that your board remains in optimal shape for years to come.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for your custom piece to arrive. We make everything by hand, usually ready to ship within two weeks. Shipping in continental US can take 1-2 weeks.

Every cutting board we offer also comes with an end grain option. End grain cutting boards are durable and easy to maintain. Using an end-grain cutting board can significantly prolong the sharpness of your knives. Unlike traditional cutting surfaces, the end-grain design comprises small wood fibers standing upright, which allows the blade to slip between them when cutting. This absorption of impact minimizes the wear on the knife's edge, reducing the frequency of sharpening needed. Also, the absorption of the knives create less markings on the board. The board looks better for longer.
